Canon PowerShot s110 WiFi Setup
The Canon PowerShot s110 WiFi Setup turned out to be a lot more difficult than I had expected. While connecting the Canon PowerShot s110 to my Samsung Galaxy S3 was a breeze connecting to my two computers turned out to be a royal battle. The Windows 8 attempt was a failure that you can read about here. Connecting to my Windows 7 notebook went a little easier with this pdf document which is also the image below. Click the image below. It will open in a new window, Due to the size of the image your browser may reduce the initial view to a little strip. Just click the image and your browser should resize the image back to it’s 100% actual size.
The above Canon Powershot s110 Wifi Setup procedures did not completely get the two devices communicating I also had to open the firewall to allow communication. Every firewall is different and beyond the scope of this page. However with most firewalls it is easy to test by completely turning your firewall off temporarily for testing purposes. If turning off your firewall solves your problem consult the help file or website of your security software. It’s usually pretty easy.
